I just realised today is my reverse birthday (aka shadow birthday or AU birthday or um, not really my birthday but we should celebrate it anyway.)

I was born on the 4th September so in some Alter Universe another me is having the time of her life... or may be freaking out because she just turned 30.

I spent most of today in bed not because I was sick or anything but just because I could. I had nothing to do and nowhere to be. I haven't been able to stay in bed all day since... probably since I was a student. It was great!

5am in the morning and I'm just back from the best night out I've had in a long time. I may be a little tipsy right now but it's totally worth it when I've spent the best part of the last twelve hours with old friends I love completely and new friends who are already making my life better.

I really couldn't ask for anything more!

I'm utterly wrecked! Only home now which makes today almost a twelve hour work day after yesterday's ten hour work day and I only got four hours sleep in between. Prospects of getting that "day off" before Christmas are looking decidedly slim.
